Change
On the one hand, I get bored easily and am drawn to new experiences. That's why I always love to learn new things on my birthdays. Such as the surfing this year. Another year, C took me to a shooting range and I learned to shoot a gun. One year, we went to Vegas. I'd never been there before, so that was a new adventure, too.
But on the other hand, I hate change. For instance, I always click "Remind Me Later" when asked if I want to install updates that are available to my software. Realizing that I've become somewhat techno-phobic makes me feel old. Though it probably relates more to the fact that I no longer have a desk job that keeps me tied to a computer 40 hours per week as oppose to my age.
Today, I am feeling horribly distressed. I finally updated my operating system from ME to XP.
Changing my hair style or color, changing my blog name, changing my wardrobe style. Some changes are fun.
But when it comes to my computer, I really hate change.
At least blogger still looks the same in XP. :-)

i am afraid to mess up my pc, too! but xp is alright. at least i haven't had any major problems with it.
Well, I think part of the problem is that I made too many changes at once.
1. I installed XP.
2. I updated to MS Office for Students.
3. I bought an external hard drive and put all my music and photos in it.
4. AND I am trying to install my new I-Pod software. Of course, this requiring a USB hub for all the new equipment.
I think if I'd just done one of the above, Iwouldn't be feeling so overwhelmed. But I just really want to get that I-Pod working. :-(

I can't believe you had ME. That thing is the worst crap ever to come out of Microsoft. You should be glad you've come to the XP-world, where the OS doesn't suck as much ;-)

I'm fickle...one day i like change the next i don't....go figure.
i once got my hunting license just because a guy told me "girls just weren't good at it"....not only did i get it, i had a higher test score on all 3 levels than he did...so there! girls can do anything boys can do, only BETTER!
i DO NOT hunt, fyi...just had to prove him wrong. But I have shot a rifle and a 12 gauge shot gun at targets and man what a back kick! HOT! Powerful! me likey! ;)

mitzee- um, i can pee standing up better than you can
i personally say change is good as long as it's done as an improvement. mitzee did this with her hunting licence, she made that change to prove something and did.
