Film Review: Adaptation
Adapatation is a movie starring Nicolas Cage as an LA screenwriter struggling to adapt a book about orchids into a movie. Although the movie tells us a lot of trivia about orchids, it is also about a search for passion. The movie has a slow start, but then takes a surprising turn and almost turns from art flick into action movie. My favorite quote:
Donald: I can love whomever I want.
Charlie: But she thought you were pathetic.
Donald: Well, that was her business not mine. I own my love. She couldn't take that away from me. You are what you love; not what loves you.

Donald: Well, that was her business not mine. I own my love. She couldn't take that away from me. You are what you love; not what loves you.
