Reaching Out & Reaching In

This photo that Daniel Malone took of me reminds me of how I feel when I am frustrated or overwhelmed. There were times during the shoot when I got tangled and lost in the fabric. But there is a certain elegance to the photo as there is to the reality of life getting complicated. It reminds me to be appreciative of the beauty of life even when I'm wanting to disappear into the chaos of it.
Comments:
as you're discussing your pictures
I had to pointt out that this picture reminds me of those dolls ... you know, the ones that I can't quite remember. Are they porcelain? They're old, and ... uh, I guess that's all I've got. Anyway, I thought your face looked exactly like them.
... that's supposed to be complimentary. I think ... I'm rather disjointed here.
Anyway, I meant this one.

This is a great one! I am reminded of my cat Frou Frou who loves to get twisted up in various fabrics. She loves to lay around all twisted up or completely unseen. My other cat Cloud never does it!
