Dancing Muse
I've been a bit distracted lately with these photos that Daniel Malone took of me. I was so nervous during the shoot that I felt like I was keeping myself protected safely behind a wall. And yet, many of his photos captured a glimpse of the essence of my spirit. This one, for instance, reminds me of my love of dance. When I was planning this photo shoot with Daniel. He had said that he views the models as performers. I was immediately panicked wondering what type of performance I would be able to entertain him with. (And clarified that I would *not* be providing certain performances - and he seemed insulted that I would make an assumption that he might expect otherwise). My mind jumped from there to images of myself dancing for the camera. In the end, I wasn't dancing really - well, at least not with my standard hip-hop-like dance moves. And yet, this photo still managed to capture a spirit of dance.

Comments:
I have got to tell my belly dancer friend about your blog. You look like you could be really good in that genre of dance.
Misterniceguy - I've been curious about belly dancing, but haven't tried it out yet. I bet I'd like it, though. Someday...
Wow. Gee. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I hope Daniel reads how much you all like his photography, too.
