Pandora's Box

The party was quite enjoyable. C cooked up a feast - a sexy fruit salad with mango, fresh figs, blueberries, gooseberries, strawberries, nectarines, cherries, kiwi and fresh mint; a cilantro tofu salad; grilled asparagus; grilled vegetarian sausages and burgers; and vegetarian ribs. MC cooked up a delicious white bean, tomato and basil salad. A set up her stereo in the backyard by dropping the electrical chords out her bedroom window like Rapunzel. Caren and Rebekah brought yummy hard lemonade - though we decided you couldn't get drunk off of just one, so it was really semi-soft lemonade instead of hard. Becca told us the latest tales of her most recent romance. We all keep abreast of Becca's serial romances; like a live soap opera, we are all left in suspense awaiting the next episode. Lanie shared tales of the anonymous French girl she picked up in a bar who cried, "Oui, oui, oui" all the way home to Pennsylvania.
